The Business and Technology Education Council was the British body which awards vocational qualifications. Such qualifications are commonly referred to as BTECs. Edexcel, part of the Pearson group, is now the awarding body for BTECs. BTEC qualifications are undertaken in vocational subjects. They are equivalent to other qualifications such as the GCSE (levels 1 to 2), A Level (level 3) and university degrees (levels 4 to 6).

Call Handling for Reports of Anti Social Behaviour
For handling initial and ongoing reports of anti social behaviour, a range of organisations use a variety of telephony solutions, from formal call centres to office based call handling functions or a mixture of the two.
This qualification is designed to qualify the student to understand what is anti social behaviour and to acquire the skills needed to support victims. The qualification also accounts for and supports the Home Office best practice guidance for handling complaints of ASB. |

Neighbourhood Nuisance and Anti-Social Behaviour Case Work Supervision.
This qualification is about the management of investigations as the strategic lead person in any organisation. It is intended for those staff who have been appointed as the Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) or who manage such people. By its nature it also covers higher level skills and knowledge needed to manage the teams that conduct volume investigations in anti-social behaviour and crime. |

An emphasis will be placed on the legislation underpinning their role within Community Partnerships as well as Government and local policy in respect of how public bodies, such as the police and schools, are required to work alongside voluntary organisations to promote neighbourhood justice and community cohesion. |
