National Stalking Training Academy

Stalking ruins lives and can lead to rape and murder. But it often starts with 'petty or trivial' incidents - for example repeatedly being sent texts or emails, phone calls, being followed or sent unwanted 'presents'.

Many don't understand what's happening, ignore the problem and hope it goes away.

Home Secretary, Theresa May speaking of the launch of the NSTA

"Stalking is a deeply disturbing crime with many victims living in fear for years - this has to stop. That is why tackling stalking forms a key part of our action plan to end violence against women and girls.

"We welcome the new training programme which will help improve understanding of stalking and most importantly ensure that all agencies treat it as a serious issue."

The National Stalking Training Academy is a partnership between the NSS (Network for Surviving Stalking) who are internationally recognised as the leading Registered Charity in the United Kingdom dedicated to supporting victims of stalking, the National Centre for Cyberstalking Research and the CSP Academy.
