Information & data exchange - One Day Training Course

Introduction

Many organisations employ officers in a number of different services to use a wide range of informal, formal, civil and criminal tools and legislative powers to tackle, moderate or stop anti-social and nuisance behaviour, which causes alarm, harassment and distress to the community.

This one day training course focuses on giving delegates the skills, knowledge and guidance on effective information and data exchange.

Overview

This course covers the key skills and knowledge required by effective practitioners in the field, it is designed to:

• Develop and enhance candidates' skills and techniques in using nuisance and anti-social behaviour tools and legislative powers in partnership and to develop rigorous and ethical approaches in their successful use.
  
• Describe the tools and legislative powers available to lawfully exchange and share information and data with public authority partner agencies.
  
• Explain and evaluate when, where, why and how Information and data exchange procedures and protocols should be used to share information and data
  
• Examine local Information Sharing Protocols and Home Office template

The content for this one day training course is based on a single unit of the BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Neighbourhood Nuisance and Anti Social Behaviour Case Working. 

Completion of this course can also be counted towards recognition of prior learning (RPL) for individual students who wish to complete the assessment for the whole qualification later.

Who should attend

This course is for candidates who either aspire to be, or are already working in, the investigation or prevention of anti-social behaviour and neighbourhood nuisance. Examples of these could be:

• Fire and Rescue Service
• Community Safety Partnerships

Cost

This one day training course can be delivered "in house" to your organisation network or partnership at the rate of just £995 + vat per day to a maximum of 30 delegates - costing under £34 per delegate per day.

Any additional one day training events from our programme that are delivered to the same organsiation, network or partnership will be reduced by an additional £100 per day and charged at £895 + vat - a cost of under £30 per delegate per day.
